Our approach

This website is operated by GOLDEN EYE SPARK Co., Ltd. (“we”). We do not collect information that identifies you when you browse this site. We issue no cookies, and we have no mechanism that could trace a record of browsing back to an individual. For that reason we also show no cookie consent banner.

MEASUREMENT

Measurement on this site

So that we can tell which paths to booking are being used, we count on our own servers how often buttons such as booking and telephone are pressed. Only the following is sent from your browser.

• The type of action (opened the booking guide / continued to the booking site / placed a call / clicked an announcement)
• Where that action sits (header, booking tab, restaurant page and so on)
• Which restaurant it relates to
• The path of the page (anything after “?” or “#” is not sent)
• The language being displayed
• Whether the screen width is in the smartphone range (a yes/no value only)

What we do not collect

• We use no cookies, no localStorage and no sessionStorage
• We create no user ID, device ID or fingerprint
• We do not store IP addresses
• We do not store browser information (User-Agent)
• We do not collect the referrer (the page you were viewing immediately before)

These counts are used only in aggregate and are never provided to third parties.

THIRD PARTIES

Data sent to external services

In the following cases, a request is made to an external service either from your browser or from our servers. Once data reaches them, it is handled under each provider’s own privacy policy.

TableCheck (reservations)

Reservations are made after moving to the booking pages operated by TableCheck Inc. Your name, contact details and anything else entered there are handled by TableCheck. This website never receives what you enter.

Instagram (Meta)

On the home page and the restaurant pages, images from each restaurant’s Instagram posts are loaded directly from Instagram. Displaying them causes a request from your browser to Meta.

Google Maps

The map on each restaurant page is an embedded Google Map. Displaying it causes a request from your browser to Google.

AI chat (only if you type a question)

Only when you type a question into the chat is that text sent, by way of our server, to the Anthropic PBC API so that a reply can be written. Nothing is sent when you simply choose from the listed options. Please avoid entering your name, contact details or anything else that could identify you.

Web fonts are served from this site’s own servers, so no request is made to any font delivery service. No advertising or web analytics tags are installed.

DISCLOSURE

Requests for disclosure

We hold no personal data relating to your use of this website, so we are unable to respond to requests to disclose, correct or delete a record of browsing. For information relating to a reservation, please contact TableCheck or the restaurant directly.
